Earlier today, ESPN announced the winners of the NFC North Awards. According to reporters, Tarik Cohen has been named the NFC North Rookie of the Year. The former North Carolina A&T standout, impressed Chicago Bears fans all season long with his electric play.
By the end of the season, Cohen emerged as one of the Chicago Bears most dominant players on offense and special teams. Cohen became the first NFL rookie since Gale Sayers in 1965 to score touchdowns via rushing, receiving, passing and punt return in a single season. Cohen was second on the Bears in both receptions and rushing yards. He was also named as a second-team alternate to the NFL Pro Bowl.
