Jackson, MS | Jackson State’s freshman QB Shedeur Sanders made history today when his deal with Beats by Dre was officially anounced. With this deal Sanders becomes the first collegiate athlete to endorse Beats by Dre. Sanders was able to sign this historic deal because of the new NIL rule implemented by the NCAA.
The NIL rule allows a college athlete to profit off of their own name, image, and likeness for the first time in NCAA history.
Watch his official Beats by Dre announcement below:
Shedeur is the son of NFL Hall of Famer and current Jackson State Head Football coach Deion Sanders.
All eyes will be on Shedeur Sanders when he makes his first collegiate start this Sunday in the Orange Blossom Classic against FAMU on ESPN 2.
